포워딩은 2가지 방식이 있으며

  • RequestDispatcher 클래스
  • HttpServletResponse 클래스 가 있다.

 

1. RequestDispatcher


웹 브라우저에서 사용자가 전달한 정보를 request.getParameter()로 받을 수 있었는데 이것을 다른 컴포넌트로 전달하면 그 컴포넌트에서 똑같이 속성을 받을 수 있다.

서블릿에서 임의로 request.setAttribute()로 데이터를 넣어서 디스패처 방식으로 JSP 단에 보내면

그 정보를 그대로 JSP 에서 request.getAttribute()로 받아진다.

2. HttpServletResponse


앞선 RequestDispatcher 클래스와 동일하게 요청을 위임하는 클래스이다.

차이점은 요청받은 객체를 컴포넌트에 전달할 때 새로운 요청객체를 생성하여 전달하기 때문에 정보가 이어서 전달되지 않는다.

두 request는 동일한 객체가 아니기 때문에 정보를 넘겨줄 수 없다.
